So the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day just dropped…
and honestly? It’s way more revealing than I expected.
Right from the beginning, we find out that Ned and MJ both got accepted into MIT.
But Peter… he’s struggling.
He wants to tell them the truth about who he really is—but at the same time,
he’s holding back… because he knows the truth could put them in danger.
And this trailer makes one thing very clear—
Peter has fully embraced being Spider-Man.
But that comes at a cost.
It feels like he doesn’t have a personal life anymore.
And the most heartbreaking part?
Watching MJ move on… with someone else.
You can literally feel Peter’s pain.
Now here’s where things get intense—
Even though Spider-Man and Punisher are technically on the same side,
they’re still fighting each other.
Why?
Because their methods are completely different.
Spider-Man holds back… Punisher doesn’t.
There are also multiple scenes where Peter is swinging in a really unstable, almost uncontrolled way.
And that could mean a lot of things…
But my theory?
This might be because of Scorpion’s sting affecting him.
And then—things get even crazier.
We see Peter’s DNA mutating…
and a cocoon-like transformation where he comes out using organic webs.
Yeah… not tech-based anymore.
And all of this… in just a 2-minute trailer.
Now imagine what the full movie is going to be like.
The trailer already shows Spider-Man going up against multiple villains—
Scorpion, Boomerang, Tarantula, and even The Hand.
And on top of that…
we also get a tease of Tombstone—though we only hear his voice.
So yeah, after watching this trailer…
waiting for the movie just got a whole lot harder.
