The original just crossed 300 million lifetime searches on YouTube, Rise of an Empire is trending on Netflix's global Top 10 right now, and Zack Snyder recently got back the rights to his unmade third 300 film Blood and Ashes. The audience is starving for more. So we built what we think a proper third chapter should look like.
Alexios of Thebes, played by Tom Hardy, is a battle-scarred war commander who fought alongside the Spartans at Thermopylae as one of the few Greek allies who survived. He returned home carrying the weight of 300 dead warriors on his conscience and swore he'd never lift a blade again. But when the Persian Empire sends a terrifying new general to crush the fractured Greek states once and for all, Alexios is the only man alive with the battlefield knowledge and the brutality to unite what's left of Greece.
Cyrus, played by Tom Hiddleston, is the Persian Empire's most brilliant military strategist — a man who doesn't win battles with brute force but with manipulation, betrayal, and surgical precision. He's been sent by Xerxes to finish what the God-King started, and he intends to destroy Greece not through invasion but by turning the Greek city-states against each other. Artemis, played by Charlize Theron, is the warrior queen of a northern Greek territory who commands her own army and answers to no man. She's the key alliance Alexios needs but earning her trust might cost him more than any battle. Tharros, played by Idris Elba, is a legendary Spartan general who took command after Leonidas fell and has been holding together what remains of Spartan military power through sheer will and fury.
