Tough competition for The Expendables! According to industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter, a female-led spin-off titled "The Expendabelles" is currently in development. An earlier version of "Expendabelles'" was already in development back in 2014. At the time, Robert Luketic, known for "Legally Blonde", was set to direct, while the screenplay was written by Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah.
